How long will my project take?
It depends on what is needed for each project and how much you're willing to do on your own. Most rooms take between two and four hours. Some rooms, like an office, may take a little longer. At the end of each session, you will be given tasks you can accomplish before the next session to cut down on the time and cost of the project. An estimate of the project time needed will be provided at the initial assessment meeting.
What if I need help with something small?
There's no job too large or too small. Organized Today can help with everything from one closet to a whole house.
When can I get an appointment?
Organized Today offers flexible daytime, evening and weekend appointments. Sessions can be booked individually, all at one time, or on a set schedule and there is a two hour minimum.
Will I be involved?
That depends upon what type of service you’re seeking. Organized Today offers four types of on-site organizing services:
- Clients use us as a resource to gather ideas and advice for several different problem areas and then implement those suggestions on their own;
- We work side by side with clients doing hands-on organizing tasks;
- Clients use us to keep them focused and support them while they plow through work that they can't get done when they are alone;
- We do all the physical work, working from a specific plan that clients and Organized Today develop together while clients remain available to make decisions and provide input as necessary
What if I live out of your service area?
Then you sound like a great candidate for our Phone and Email Services! If you
just need a little bit of help or live outside the Twin Cities metro area, we can still work as a team
to complete your organizing goals. Using a combination of email and phone, we will provide guidance and
support as you work through your organizing projects. You receive a complimentary, no-obligation 20 minute
phone consultation and if you choose this service you pre-pay for 60 minutes of service at a time which
can be divided into any combination of phone calls and emails that you wish. Please contact us for further

How much will it cost?
Your initial, no-obligation consultation is free. After we discuss your goals and determine how to accomplish them, we will be able to set up a schedule and costs. The fee may vary depending upon the nature or scope of the project. You will be billed only for the pre-approved hourly services and any changes to the scope of the project, including charges for products or services, must be approved by you.
Who supplies the organizing items like baskets or bins?
Organized Today will supply all basic organizing supplies such as garbage bags and labels. For a specific use, we will recommend a type of item needed for each area of the project but you can purchase anything you want that will fit the need. For example, we may recommend that you get a particular sized container to hold all bill paying items such as bills, checks, pens and stamps but you may purchase any type of plastic, wood or metal container that fits your taste, décor and budget.
What if I don't know what to buy?
You can make a shopping appointment with Organized Today to get all the items on your list.
Should I get my bins and other organizing supplies before making an appointment?
No. Purchase of these items should take place after the needs assessment and decluttering stages so we know exactly how many and what size containers are needed.
What about follow-up after my project is completed?
Once your organizing project is finished, you may contact Organized Today at no charge for up to
one month via phone or email to answer any questions about maintaining your newly organized space.
Additionally, you may book a complimentary 30 minute follow-up session after six months to ensure your
goals were met for that specific project. If you ever feel that Organized Today has not provided quality
service, we would sincerely appreciate that you let us know and every effort will be made to rectify the
situation.
What payment method can I use?
Payment is due by cash or check at the end of each session.
What if I need to cancel a session?
One “free” cancellation is allowed per quarter otherwise cancellations less than 24 hours in advance may be billed for the entire length of the scheduled session
