The place to go for all things craft, these stores also carry many items designed to organize your crafts. Good selection of items but their design is often limited to specific craft storage.
Home Improvement Stores (Menards, Home Depot, Lowes, etc)
These stores will have the best prices on shelving and similar organizing items. They also carry plastic bins and baskets like discount retailers but they are more expensive unless on sale.
Dollar Stores
A hidden organizing gem, these stores often carry plastic storage, baskets, shelving, wire organizers, greeting card organizers and much more. Selection may vary by week and is very limited but great deals are there to be found. A “true” dollar store, where the items are always only a dollar, will always beat regular prices at other stores although sales at discount retailers may be slightly less expensive.
Thrift Stores (Goodwill, Salvation Army, etc)
These stores can score you amazing deals on organizing items as well as lots of other things but are not to be relied upon. Selection varies by store and by day and requires some diligence but you'll love scoring that Pottery Barn Kids Cameron bookcase for only $20.
